Custom Dresses and Gowns in Greensboro, NC

Elizabeth T. T. Mebane, the owner of Zovonna Stewart Couture, was born in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. She learned how to be a tailor at an early age, helping her grandparents with their custom tailor shop, which specialized in traditional Vietnamese and Chinese clothing. When she turned 17, Elizabeth moved to Phan Rang, Vietnam to work at a Taiwanese tailor shop. Here, she gained a passion for creating custom men’s and women’s suits.



Four years after that, she moved to Greensboro, NC to be with family. Using her newly-discovered talents, she worked at Men’s Wearhouse and Belk locally. Finally, in 2003, she decided to strike out on her own. Zovonna Stewart Couture now offers custom wedding gowns, formal gowns, wedding dresses, event dresses, prom dresses, and custom dresses.
